we are one

Ch'amisûl, or Chamjinisulro as the manufacturer Jinro calls it.

Ch'amdaesul in display among North Korean liquors in the Chanamsan inn (yôgwan) in Kaesong (via Chosun Ilbo).

Update.
Dr. Lankov reminded that a story in Daily NK mentioned the Chinese Ch'amilsûl as one of the Chinese bootleg products. What was it, "imitation is the best form of flattery" or what?

Ch'amilsûl on the left, Ch'amisûl on the right. Linked from Daily NK.

Antti, have you seen my reply to your question re Dr.Armstrong's book (I assume it was you). But, re the North Korean 진로, there is a large article in the 'Daily NK'. See

Yes, I saw your reply. You answered more than thoroughly, considering it was a blog comment. I also saw the article you gave a link to and thought of updating this note with it, but somehow it just didn't happen. Might as well do it now...
