(Urban space) About the development of Kangnam in Seoul

Ohmynews tells us that MBC is going to air a critical program about the development of the Kangnam area in Seoul. Leaving aside the suspicions of intentionally airing programs critical of the father of the present representative of Grand National Party right before the parliamentary elections, the development drive of the southern side of the Han (漢!) river treated in the program, as introduced in the text, is basic stuff to be aware of in the recent South Korean history. The article cites the MBC program that the origin of the present-day overheated real estate investing is the Kangnam project, or to be more precise the Park Chung-hee government.

More about this on Tuesday.
